When I was growing up, all I saw in movies and books was how fun snow could be. You could go outside, make snowmen, have snowball fights, make snow angels, etc. You know, FUN stuff.

This is bullshit. Complete and utter bullshit.

Anyone insane enough to run out and go play in this temperature needs to check themselves in a mental institution. When you step outside, you feel like you're getting bitch-slapped with cold. Your skin feels as dry as paper, *all* the time.  And worst of all-- I can't wear any of my shoes!! :(

I wore my stilletos yesterday because I refused to be conquered by something as (hoho) trivial as weather. I'm happy to report that no, I did NOT slip and crack my skull open on the pavement, but trudging through icy slush meant that my toes were all but frozen.

The weather seemed to be clearing a bit today, so hopefully tomorrow the snow will have melted enough that I can wear my velvet purple sling-backs.

Oh, Manila. How I miss your (kinda) consistent weather.
